“For 5 1/2 years I was the board member in charge of 50 condo's @ Timberlake located on Kratzville Road, Evansville In.. During my time on the board I was responsible for the exterior of all 5o buildings, fences, mail boxes, paper boxes, wood decks, sealing of patios, sidewalks etc. One of the first jobs I had as director was to terminate the painting contractor that was doing all of the above mentioned painting because of sloppy, poor quality and high priced work. I solicited bids from 6 painting contractors to attend a pre bid meeting to go over a new written specification and a site visit to look at some of the buildings and for me to explain what I expected them to include in their proposals. Ron was the only contractor to bring a paint supplier (Sherwin Williams) to visit the site and make suggestions as to what type of stain and paint needed to accomplish what I was requesting. Ron submitted the most complete proposal and on time. He was not the cheapest or the most expensive bid submitted however his bid included everything I asked for plus some items that I had overlooked. I asked Ron to come out to go over his proposal in detail at which time I awarded the 1st package of 3 buildings to his company. Ron had Scott and his crew start the work at an agreed to date and they completed the work on time and to my satisfaction without any change orders. After the 1st contract I awarded all of the work to Ron until I left the board of directors 5 1/2 years later. I know the new director is utilizing Ron to do all of the work now and in the future. I cannot say enough good things about Ron, Scott and the rest of the crew. They always arrived on site dressed like painters and had equipment in good working order and in clean condition. They always kept the mess cleaned up and we basically never had any complaints only good comments. My job would have been a lot easier if all of the other contractors that I contracted with did their work as good as Ron,s and on time.
